The inspiration becomes a concept.
As the inspiration is nourished, different concepts are explored for images, illustrations, patterns, and overall mirror design.

The concept is translated into a design.
Once a concept direction is chosen, a digital design is created. It’s not enough for it to just look great—it must work with the mirror shape, lighting configuration, and engineering requirements. At this stage, a conceptual design becomes an engineered work of art.

The design is laser-etched.
The computer-generated drawing is translated into instructions for the laser machine, while mirror glass is cut to size and placed on the laser table. The laser etches the design into the coating on the back of the mirror.

The etched mirror glass is finished.
Once the design is laser-etched, Electric Mirror’s skilled artisans hand-peel portions of the design to prepare the mirror glass for finishing, which may include sandblasting and additional laser etching.

The finished mirror is assembled.
